  6. I like the poetry section. I use poetry to express myself or my feelings about a certain situation. Poetry can release anger, stress, depression, frustrations, disappointments, heartbreaks and many other feelings that we as people tend to go through. I have found some poems that are my favorites….but I still tend to think that MY poetry is my favorite.
I also like the music section. I like rap/hip-hop/slow jams/soul-music,some country and the back in the day music. I love all gospel music. Music is like my poetry relaxer. Majority of the time i am writing poetry…i am listening to music.
My favorite artists are: T.I., Lil Wayne, Trey Songs and Juelz Santana.
Illustrated art is sometimes interesting to me, if I find the picture interesting or one that has a hidden message that I am able to uncover then I tend to like the painting. But, I dont study painting, so I can’t say that I have a favorite painting just quite yet.

i have sooooo much stuff that I want to put up here…but…I dont want to have the longest comment online.

    I HATE BOOKS!!!

  8. Art:
Personally, I enjoy a much different style of art than most people seem to, one of my favorite artists, and a personal friend, Igor Rabovsky follows close to the type of satiracle “comics” that i enjoy, his new website is http://www.dakugrozni.com
Other artists in the genre: http://www.ralphsteadman.com, http://www.geraldscarfe.com ( best known for his work with Pink Floyd album covers and merchinside) and lastly Shel Silverstein ( he doesn’t have a well founded website for his art, but much of his less complicated work can be found in any of his books.)

    Music:
Carbon Leaf is a reasonably small band that has been arounf for several years, I first heard about them at Bonaroo about 5 years ago, http://www.carbonleaf.com. Other classics of course include The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Jon Bon Jovi, and Humble Pie.

    Dance:
There are liquid dancers of many types, but one of the best of all time is David ” Elsewhere”
You can go to http://www.youtube.com and search for him and find several of his competition clips as well as comercial work.

    Poetry and literary works:
I read majny different type of works, from novels, to short story, poems etc.
One of my favorite authors for professional stype works is Norman Mailer, his award winning book, the Exucutioner’s Song is a wonderful book, but a rather long read, over 1000 pages, but it is well worth it. http://www.amazon.com/gp/reader/0375700811/ref=sib_dp_pt/002-9166224-2800029#reader-link

Two of my favorite short story writers are Ray Bradbury and H.P. Lovecraft, Lovecraft is better known for using different style of reality in the real world, rather it be physics in the way things move or geometry in the way things are shaped, but for people obsessed with order in their everday lives, Lovecraft is a wonderful horror writter.
Ray Bradbury writes more about reality as well as future possibilities, but for the most part his stories lie rather closely to how things can acutally turn out.

My favorite poet is Robert Frost, most of his works leave an open space for you to decide what you want the answer to his questions to be. He doesn’t force his ideas down your throat, he simply supplies both his side and the opposing, and while he may seem to lean towards one idea or the other, for the most part he plays a fair game.

  9. Films: Pirates of the Caribbean (1-3), Benny and Joon, Pride and Prejudice (2005), Finding Neverland, From Hell, The Ninth Gate, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Libertine, Cry-Baby, and Blow.

Poetry: Robert Frost, Emily Dickinson, and TS Eliot

Prose: E.V. Rieu, Lurlene McDanielle, and Hans Christian Andersen

Plays: The Phantom of the Opera and The Crucible

Music: Taking Back Sunday, Bullet for My Valentine, Saosin, Blink 182, Flyleaf, Funeral for a Friend, Underoath, Boys like Girls, Coheed and Cambria, Death Cab for Cutie, Creed, FalloutBoy, Motion City Soundtrack, AFI, and Senses Fail.

Visuals: Leonardo DaVinci, Donatello, Rafeal, Michealangelo, and Van Gogh

    Dance: Step-Up

  10. Movies:

I adore most Tarrentino and Tarrentino style movies from Resirvoir Dogs to Momento. Another favorite is Alfred Hitchcock, most of his movies, and even his short run TV show is full of classic dramatic twists, I generally watch Hitchcock hand in hand with The Twilight Zone at about 2 in the morning.
I haven’t watched or enjoyed all that many foreign films, but Run Lola Run is a favorite no matter which genre.

My all time favorites include Donnie Darko, the Hannibal Lector Series, Elizabethtown, Little Miss Sunshine, Young Frankenstein, Taxi Driver, Easy Rider, The Shinning, and Sphere.

  11. Oh yeah!–Little Miss Sunshine was AWESOME (and had Eric, mi esposo, laughing like a little girl at the end). You might like “I heart huckabees” then.

    Great comments, guys.
